We believe that surfing, when taught with presence and care, can regulate the nervous system, build trust, release fear and reconnect people with their bodies - far beyond technique alone.

With years of surf experience and a background in managing a surf business, Sam brings both expertise and vision to the Holistic Surf School, creating a place like never seen before in Kuta Lombok.

Adriano is our experienced surf instructor who helps advanced surfers refine their technique while guiding beginners with patience and care, creating safety, confidence and strong foundations in the water.

Our office manager ensures everything behind the scenes runs smoothly, creating a calm, organized and welcoming experience for both clients and team.

Surfing can be so powerful when approached consciously. Fear, control, frustration, trust, patience and flow are not just challenges you face on the board, they mirror deeper inner patterns many surfers experience.

The themes you experience in life might also be the themes you experience in the water.

This insight sparked the idea for a surf school that doesn’t only focus on performance, but on awareness, embodiment and inner growth, made tangible through surfing.

OUR IDEA

The You & Me team lives and works from a holistic vision. We believe that as humans, we exist of five interconnected layers: physical, mental, emotional, energetic and spiritual.

This philosophy shapes the way we teach surfing, and it’s also why we created a dedicated space for healing and integration. Alongside our surf lessons, we offer a variety of classes that work on all layers, supporting balance, embodiment and deeper connection.

Together, this creates a complete and conscious experience, in the ocean and beyond.

OUR CONCEPT

This is not a push-on-the-wave surf school.
And not a one-size-fits-all model.

At You & Me Holistic Surf School in Kuta Lombok, surfing is taught with:

safety and awareness
personal attention
respect for the ocean
space for individual internal processes

Surf lessons are complemented by optional holistic sessions such as energetic healing, breathwork, surf recovery yoga and sound healing, supporting integration on a physical, emotional and energetic level.

Our mission is to create a space where surfing becomes more than a sport.

A space where people feel safe enough to explore, supported enough to grow and present enough to truly connect, with the ocean and with themselves.
